چکیده
The detection of gravitational waves from extreme mass ratio inspirals (EMRIs) by the future space-based gravitational-wave detectors demands generation accurate enough waveform templates. Since spin smaller secondary body cannot be neglected for and parameter estimation EMRIs, we study its influence on phase EMRIs with a spinning secondary. We focus generic eccentric equatorial orbits around Kerr black hole. To model object, use Mathisson-Papapetrou-Dixon equations in pole-dipole approximation. Furthermore, linearize orbital variables fluxes respective orbits. obtain these using Teukolsky formalism frequency domain. derive evolution spin-induced corrections to adiabatic an inspiral. Finally, through their numerical integration, find shift between inspiral nonspinning body.

Transition from inspiral to plunge for a compact body in a circular equatorial orbit around a massive, spinning black hole
There are three regimes of gravitational-radiation-reaction-induced inspiral for a compact body with mass m , in a circular, equatorial orbit around a Kerr black hole with mass M@m: ~i! the adiabatic inspiral regime, in which the body gradually descends through a sequence of circular, geodesic orbits; ~ii! a transition regime, near the innermost stable circular orbit ~isco!; ~iii! the plunge re...
متن کاملExtracting Energy from Accretion into a Kerr Black Hole.
The highest efficiency of converting rest mass into energy by accreting matter into a Kerr black hole is approximately 31% (Thorne 1974). We propose a new process in which periods of accretion from a thin disk, and the associated spin-up of the black hole, alternate with the periods of no accretion and magnetic transfer of energy from the black hole to the disk. These cycles can repeat indefini...
متن کاملGravitational self-force correction to the innermost stable circular equatorial orbit of a Kerr black hole.
For a self-gravitating particle of mass μ in orbit around a Kerr black hole of mass M ≫ μ, we compute the O(μ/M) shift in the frequency of the innermost stable circular equatorial orbit due to the conservative piece of the gravitational self-force acting on the particle. Our treatment is based on a Hamiltonian formulation of the dynamics in terms of geodesic motion in a certain locally defined ...
متن کاملBoosted Kerr black hole
Initial data for boosted Kerr black hole are constructed in an axially symmetric case. Momentum and hamiltonian constraints are solved numerically using finite element method (FEM) algorithms. Both BowenYork and puncture boundary conditions are adopted and appropriate results are compared. Past and future apparent horizons are also found numerically and the Penrose inequality is tested in detai...
متن کاملMetric perturbations produced by eccentric equatorial orbits around a Kerr black hole
We present the first numerical calculation of the (local) metric perturbation produced by a small compact object moving on an eccentric equatorial geodesic around a Kerr black hole, accurate to first order in the mass ratio. The procedure starts by first solving the Teukolsky equation to obtain the Weyl scalar ψ4 using semi-analytical methods. The metric perturbation is then reconstructed from ...
